Jake Paul defeated UFC legend Anderson Silva by knocking him out in the final round.

Paul led on all three scorecards heading into the eighth session before a right hand knocked Silva out.

The Brazilian recovered to finish the fight before succumbing to his second boxing defeat.

Paul was looking for his sixth professional victory against 47-year-old UFC icon Silva.

Silva had previously defeated former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and MMA veteran Tito Ortiz.

The fight began with the Phoenix audience roaring in support of Silva

Paul was getting caught by Silva's uppercut as they broke from the clinch and it was neck and neck heading into the sixth round.
